Twitch Botviewers Detector: Identify Bot-Viewers on Twitch
Twitch Botviewers Detector is a Chrome extension designed to help users distinguish potential Bot-viewers in the Twitch chat manager. By utilizing a color-coded system in the "COMMUNITY" tab, this tool highlights Bot-Viewers with either a green or red background. Green usernames are considered "good Bots," while those in red are flagged as "bad Bots," which could be potentially harmful or associated with malicious activities such as FollowBots or SpamBots.
With a simplified display that refreshes every 2 seconds, users can easily spot and ban any identified "bad Bots" in their chat using Twitch's banning tools. While the extension currently does not automatically ban Bots, it effectively signals their presence in the chat, aiding moderators and streamers in maintaining a healthy environment.
The extension's database of good and bad Bots is publicly accessible on "twitchbots.info" and "twitchinsights.net," providing valuable resources for users. However, it's important to note that some "good Bots" might be misidentified as "bad Bots" due to insufficient data. Users are encouraged to reach out to the developer to rectify any misclassifications.
